About the founder
Mohamed Salem, MBA is an operations leader and Lean practitioner with more than 15 years of experience leading operational excellence, process improvement, performance management, and cost control initiatives in large, complex, and regulated organizations.His experience includes serving as Executive Plant Manager for the United States Postal Service in Wichita, Kansas, where he led a major processing hub with responsibility for large teams across production, logistics, maintenance, and environmental health and safety. In that role, he led a Lean Six Sigma transformation that delivered a significant efficiency improvement and reduced cost year over year through workflow redesign, waste elimination, and standardized management systems.Before this role, he held multiple USPS operations leadership positions in Grand Island, Nebraska, Redding, California, and Orlando, Florida, with a consistent record of improving throughput, equipment uptime, communication flow, and service reliability. Across these roles, he implemented Lean deployment methods, root-cause analysis practices, visual performance management, and cross-functional operational controls.Mohamed also served in the US Army, where he developed leadership skills in compliance, safety, crisis management, and mission execution under high-risk conditions.He holds an Executive MBA from Wichita State University, a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, and a Diploma in Law Enforcement from the Army Military Police School. His credentials include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and additional management and operations training.
